Solent Stevedores - Our Services

The principle business activity of Solent Stevedores is the stevedoring, storage and re-delivery of bulk containerised and general cargo in the Port of Southampton.

Approximately 1.7 million tonnes of cargo was handled by Solent Stevedores in 2008.

More recently the Company has successfully expanded its portfolio to include container handling and project cargo in Southampton and the discharge of raw sugar in the Port of London.

As an added service to customers, Solent Stevedores offers an up to the minute stock tracking system, with discrete access, enabling customers to track goods in transit on line day or night.

In addition to open storage, covered shed space is also available within the Bulk Terminal.
